Job Description:

  • Forecast demand levels for products.
  • Serve as a bridge between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and customers.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitor the quality of services provided.
  • Maintain contract files and use them as references when needed.
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Present market analysis and potential growth opportunities.
  • Develop purchasing strategies.
  • Generate reports and statistics using company software.
  • Evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors.
  • Attend meetings and trade conferences.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (in any major).
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Procurement Manager or 10 years in Procurement, preferably in a construction company.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Skilled in using Ms. Office (especially Word and Excel) and handling administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually.
  • Polite, honest, loyal, quick, and meticulous in performing duties.
  • Organized record-keeping and documentation.
  • Understanding of taxation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Communicative, proactive, analytical, confident, and responsive.
